The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Every morning I enter my sacred place. This is a place in my living room where I engage my mind and my heart in silence, solitude, mediation, and journal keeping. It is a place where my work gets done before going to work. But, more than getting my work done, it is a place where GOD is getting His work done in my heart.
I am so grateful for this place. I have found that God’s Word has refreshed my soul in such a precious way. I am tasting the sweetness of His Word and my heart longs for more. I have found great delight and strength in this place.
As I come to the close of this year and look back on all I have enjoyed, as well as the hard spaces of transformation, I am indeed grateful. I desire to stay attentive to my days as I dream for what could be in the new year!
So, as we begin this week, I invite you on a journey of discovery. The discovery to find your sacred space – a space where you too will be encouraged, renewed, and strengthened.
I cannot wait to share some of what I have learned in the new Legacy Principles environments next year. This is a heartfelt invitation to you. I would love for you to come and taste some of what God has given me and what I know He desires for you.
I am excited that I now have a date for a spring Restorative Retreat. It will be held April 12-14, 2019, at the Howey Mansion and will have a limited amount of overnight accomodations.
Registration is now open. Consider giving this gift to yourself for Christmas.
I trust that you will have an amazing week. I would love to hear what you are learning in your sacred space.
With great love!
