Promise 1

Man was created with an inner longing to know God and to make Him known.

I am most fulfilled when I am fully devoted and engaged in God’s purpose for my life.

If God created me in HIS image and I am fearfully and wonderfully made then I have the privilege and the responsibility to understand my personal strengths, passions, and giftedness in order to use all that I am for Him.

I am called to run the race that is set before me and when I understand how to best use my strengths, talents, and gifts then I will have a huge sense of personal confidence and success. I will not be frustrated, but focused. I will not be overwhelmed, but excited that God would use me to share HIS story in my generation.

Psalm 139:14 – I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Hebrews 12:1 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Acts 20:24 – However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me –the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.

1 Corinthians 9:24 – Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Romans 9:17 – For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

Ephesians 4:1 – I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.

Isaiah 26:8 – Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your truth my soul longs for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.

May the story of YOUR life reflect a story for HIS glory!
